UV-BLEND DUBBING is rabbit hair mixed with synthetic fibres. Rabbit hair is extremely easy to attach to the tying thread, it is perhaps one of the easiest dubbings to work with and therefore perfect if you are a novice fly tier. It is attached to the tying thread through wax and in a very simple and fast way you can make very compact dubbing strand to imitate the bodies and thoraxes of dry flies, wet flies and nymphs.
The special synthetic fibres reflect the ultraviolet light spectrum very well, generating very interesting glows that can intrigue and attract fish without scaring them away. In fact, the right amount of these synthetic fibres will not distort your artificial fly and risk making your prey suspicious.
